Ahmad Fuad Rahmany

Fuad Rahmany was appointed as the Indonesia Central Securities Depository’s (KSEI) President Commissioner during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 30, 2022.  Previously, Rahmany served as the Head of the Ministry of Finance’s Capital Market and Financial Institutions Monitoring Agency (BAPEPAM-LK) (2006 – 2011), a Commissioner at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC/LPS) (2009 - 2014), the Ministry of Finance’s Directorate General of Taxation (2011 - 2014), an Independent Commissioner at the PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (Persero) (2015 - 2020), and as a Commissioner at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) Commissioner (2014 - 2015). Currently, Rahmany also holds the positions of Independent Commissioner at PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia and PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk, and as a Commissioner at PT Tambang Damai.

Rahmany graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia (1981).  He obtained his Master’s Degree from Duke University (1987) and a Doctorate Degree from Vanderbilt University (1997), both in Economics and in the United States.
